Drawing in Windows Vista.....

will anybody tell me, why drawing is slow in windows vista as compared
to windows vista.....
i m running an application of moving a rectangle,.......
i observed that rectangle drawing is slow in windows vista.........
i will be thankfull if anybody clarifies where i m wrong....or is
this the problem with vista....

As compared to XP? My _guess_ would be that it is a video driver issue.

You may want to post again in the graphics development group to see if
anyone else has similar experience to yours

microosft.public.win32.programmer.gdi

or perhaps in an end-user group to see whether there are driver issues with
your video card.

Also we'd need to know if you are running with Aero, Aero Glass, or the
legacy graphics system.

Did you measure anything to find out how much slower it was?
Vista needs more resources than XP, so if you install vista on the same PC
as your XP system, it is likely to be slower if that machine is not a high
end machine.
