Hello Kenobewan

Well many suggestions you have given are good ,i found many closed threads

(threads regarding asiignments and some otherworks) which are not supposed

to be asked ,if there any possibility of hiding those closed threads its better i

think ,because it indicates as new thread but internally it is closed

Regards

Hi nmsreddi,

Thanks for your feedback. We realise that it is frustrating to see these threads and they waste time, but we do have a policy to deal with them. When we close them if we did not leave them visible, and a few silly ones we do delete directly, the person might not realise what they were doing wrong. It also reinforces that the forum is moderated.

On the whole, while I have only been a moderator a short time it is pleasing to see that the majority do the right thing and ask for help when they have problems or errors in the project that they are working on. We try to encourage everyone to read the FAQs. Unfortunately, a few believe that you and I are here to do their project for them.

Please feel free to report any posts that you don't believe appropriate. We are still trying to improve things, so keep the suggestions and feedback coming :).

I'm happy for these posts to be deleted once a day or two has passed. I don't think they should be left on the forum indefinately. As kenobewan says though we have to leave them up long enough for the poster to get the message.
