Consuming External Web Service

Hi,

i have a web service created outside the .net framework. i have written an application in C# which consumes the external application.My problem is the C# application is able to send data to the web service but not able to get the required response. Please help.

try two things:
1. If you just browse to the webservice and invoke web methods without any
application, see whether you are getting expected response.

2. Other thing is that classes that are used in or defined in the web
service should also be defined there in your client.
