How can I see my old mail messages?

I read the post about opening a pst file from outlook 2003 on a new computer,
in outlook 2003. It said to just go to file and open an outlook data file. I
did that and my messages still don't show up; a new personal folders category
appears and the file folder I want to open appears under that, but there's no
messages in it. What do I do?

What you do is post this to an Outlook newsgroup. This is a .Net
Programming newsgroup.
