parent and child controls

Hi,

I had a panel control in my form, for this panel im assigning a seperate user control. For this panel i set the anchor properties(left, right, top, bottom). Because i want my control to resize, when the form is resized. And for the user control also i set the same anchor properties. Im dynamically assigning the user control into the panel. The expected behaviour for this operation is the usercontrol has to set in between the panel borders. But for me the usercontrol is overflowing (i.e the usercontrol size is becoming more than the panel borders). I don't know why it is happening. Any idea abt this.......

Mine is a c# windows application.

Thank You.

My guess is that you haven't given the panel an overflow auto style - there are a couple of ways to do this. I believe that your panel can not force the content width and has no current way of dealing with the overflow except expand.

Hope that this helps.
