Saving a database record with a menu strip

How do I save a record with a Menu Strip

Okay after a lot of reading I figured out I need to save an update to an access database. How is this accomplished.

Please some help

Use an oledb connection for access and a update sql statement via a data adapter using executenonquery. Suggest having a go and posting code if this doesn't work...
