Does changing system language affect?

Hello all,

I am working on c# application. When I change the system language to "dutch" then my application doesn't work until i change the font size to an integer.
Previously the font size was 7.25(a floating point value) and font family is verdana.
I am surprised by this behavior anyone let me know why this happens and any solution to overcome this problem.
