Abstract class method returning same class object

hi,

I created an abstract class. In that a method which returns same class object, like
predifned class,

system.drawing.image a = system.drawing.image.fromfile(filename)

this method returns image class object, but image class is an abstract class we can't create
an object for the class, I want the same method implementation like FROMFILE method but in
my abstract class method if i tried to create object for the same class, im getting an error

like can't create instance for the abstract class. To get rid of this error how should i
implemnt my class to provide the same functionality as IMAGE ABSTRACT CLASS FROM FILE
METHOD. Any suggestions???????

Thank You
