My Computer won't close down since installing IE7

After installing IE7 my computer hangs at "Turn off Computer" specifically it
says that it can't end ctfmon.exe and explorer.exe (I can close them manually
and machine shuts down ok). This occurred after installing IE7, I uninstalled
it and everything went back to normal. I have since reinstalled IE7 only to
find the same problem. Can anyone solve this?

Despite what Microbl*wj*b says, IE7 sucks like sh*t through a wet rag. Tried
installing IE7, hated the UI because it made me vomit, and went back to IE6.

Will consider Firefox, Mozilla, Opera later. Have Avant already installed,
but it
seems to have its nose stuck in Micro*ss.
