Using a DLL within a web-application

Hi there,

I've created a web application that uses a dll that manages all of my database processing.

Everything is working properly and happily but I am just not confident about what exactly is going on.

My question is:

Is the DLL loaded into my application upon the first client request and never loaded again?

or

Is the DLL loaded every time a client makes a request?
If the second is the case, is the DLL in any way cached within the asp pages?

Thanks alot for your help!
