How to establish communication between two ASP.Net applications?

My ASP.Net application will be installed at four places which are connected through WAN. At each place there will be database and our wav file folder.
So what I want to do is I should be able to hear that wav file from any place. I am using a Microsoft's media player component for playing wav file for this component I have to send it an URL as- http:\\190.165.14.21\SLV\wav23-11-2006.wav and it gets played. (Here SLV is virtual directory)
There will be thousands of wav files at each place. Also the path of the wav file that I want play is in the respective databases.
Suppose my one web server is at London and one at Hongkong.
I am at London and want to here wav file stored on some drive at Hongkong's web server then I will send some signal or request to the application at Hongkong then it will copy that specific wav file in its virtual directory and send me URL of that one and I will give that URL to my media player object and I will be able to hear it.
So how to achieve all these things in ASP.net
