protocol error

Hai,

In my device application, i am calling one webservice, which is
available in the ordinary pc.

When calling that webservice i am getting webexception error. I
checked the status of that webexception, that is protocolerror.

My code is

dim oService as new servicedataset.tkmservice

oservice.url="http:\\" & gsRptIp &
"\tkmservice1\tkmservice.asmx"

'filling some dataset here

oservice.acceptdataset(filleddatasetname)
In this code,
gsRptip --is a ipaddress where my webservice
is residing.

tkmservice1 ---is my virtual directory name.

When i call this webserice from IE it is working properly.

Thanking you.
