Processing soap requests without IIS

Hi,

I am trying to create a web service which listens on a specific port for http requests and processes the request without using IIS.

My client application sends a soap message through a http post operation and I need my server application to be able to receive this request and create a response and send it without using an asmx page.

The server app needs to be built in C# and I need something like gSOap(C++) which parses the request and calls a method with the arguments extracted from the soap request and also takes care of https , keep-alive and gzip support.

Any pointers to this will be highly appreicated.

thanks and regards
HS.
