Web Services Compression techniques (PocketPC)

Hi folks,

I'm looking for either some information, code or some off the shelf
libraries that can be used to compress Web Service data. It needs to be able
work on PocketPC. More than willing to pay for a library or tool which
provides the functionality.

Best Regards,
David

What kind of data are you looking to compress? Binary or textual data can be
compressed using the classes in the .NET 2.0 framework and then attached to a
SOAP message using MTOM.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I'm looking to compress just text data initially,
simple things like strings. Could you advice me what classes in .NET 2.0 are
available to do that?

Thanks very much,

Regards,
David

I think I found the classes - GZipStream and DeflateStream.
