Min hardware/software req for a .NET app

Roy
Hi all,

Would you someone help me with this. I'm unable to find any documentation
related to this. I want to make sure the VS2003 application runs with no
issue on the user machine.
Thanks in advance,

Roy

I think a good real world advice here for a WinXP SP2 box is at least a
P3 coppermine class processor and 256MB Ram. If the user is also going
to be using a web browser and some office apps at the same time then you
want 512MB at least.

You can use lesser machines but it will be slow.

Thanks John,

I just need to verify that hw/sw requirements for a .NET app is equivalent
to hw/sw requirements for framework. Is this true?

Any additional requirements should be pretty obvious. For example, if you
have a video conference app then a webcam is a hardware requirement.

The page John posted summarizes all the "hidden" requirements. Anything
else you would require only because you yourself, and not .NET, use it.
