Blank Hard drive - How to install Operating System?

Hello,

Really need some advice here. I bought a Dell computer from a local
wholesaler last week and the hard drive was completely erased. I didn't
think it would be difficult to load software, but I'm finding out that I have
no idea how to load anything on here. I only have access to the Boot Menu
and any CD's that we put in, won't come up. Also, at the prompt, we can't
type anything.

Does anyone know what to do? Please help!

This newsgroup is for the Microsoft .NET Framework development platform
(dotnet). Try posting your question to something like:

news://news.microsoft.com/microsoft....tup_deployment

Of course I'm assuming that you are trying to install Windows XP. There are
specific setup groups for Windows 98, 2000, NT and Vista as well.
