problems with alerts

Hi
I need to capture the message displayed in an alert box using javascript or something else. If an alert occurs in the page, can the javascipt to capture the message displayed? Any solutions entertained

fine but do u want to do this on required fields or another.

go to client side and make a function

such as

function aa()
if(document.getelement(textboxname).value =="")
{
Alert("Your text");
return false;
}


and now go to server side code behind page and write down this line


btnname.attributes.add("return","aa()");

hI, Thanks, But this is not the actual requirement.

I am doing framework to other webpages in the same domain or subdomain. I couldnt change the code of that pages. And what I am need is if an alert occured in that page i have to capture the text displayed in the alert window.
