Dynamically loading dll's

Okay, not exactly sure which newsgroup this should go in.

I want to define a superclass in my program, and then be able to add
and use new subclasses without re-writing/re-building the program.
(Specifically in this case, the superclass is an agent that would read
and analyze a webpage for a particular kind of information. The input
to it would be a webpage URL, and the output would be a set of data
records to be added to the DB. The subclasses would each handle the
analysis of webpages from a particular site, each of which may
represent the information differently. I want to be able to add dll's
to analyze new sites, and not have to be rebuild the program to use
them.)

It seems to me I read once a long time ago (maybe pre-.NET) that there
was a way that you could have your program search it's directory and
automatically load any dll's that it finds, but I don't remember how to
do it, and I can't even think of appropriate terms to begin searching
the help files for information.

Can anybody help? (BTW, I'm doing this in VB.NET, although I think the
same techniques would be applicable to C# and C++)

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
