problem with unload form in VB.Net

Dear all experts,

Please help, I am facing the problem of unload form on VB.Net

Me.Hide()

Dim LoginMaintain As New LoginMaintain
Dim frmLogin As New frmLogin
LoginMaintain.Show()
frmLogin.Close()
frmLogin.Dispose()

when the programme run, the whole project terminate.
