SQL and ASP DateTime Conversion help

4
Hi,

I am storing DateTime values in my database in the default mode (mm/dd/yyyy time) and when i retrieve the values from the database, I use:-

CONVERT(CHAR(9), ScheduleDate, 3) as ScheduleDate

to display my date so that it is in the dd/mm/yyyy format.. And I want to set my Calendar Control to the date retrieved, however it will return me an error because lets say if I have 28/12/2006 (it's a string) as the value displayed, it is not the REAL/ACTUAL DateTime format.. Therefore I cant use Convert.ToDateTime() to convert it to DateTime.. How do I change the format back to mm/dd/yyyy ?? Hope you all get what I mean... Help is very much appreciated! Thanks!
