Tony Vachino and Brooke Stevenson, Metamatrix

MetaMatrix provides standards-based technology for generating i
Semantic Data Services (XML or Relational) on top of any type of
information system, with exceptional support for semantic mediation
and change management. Semantic Data Services can be generated
from information exchange standards such as GJXDM, NIEM, EXDL,
HL7, C2IEDM . and automatically mapped to domain vocabularies of
existing data sources. The Semantic Data Services are deployed to a
highly-optimized federated query engine, which provides a single
point of access to a variety of legacy information systems (via
JDBC, ODBC, or SOAP) rapidly achieving secure interoperability.

MetaMatrix will demonstrate their model driven GUI for rapidly
mapping existing data sources to pre-defined XML Schemas and
deploying live data services.
