How do i change utf-8 charset to iso-8859-1 on webservice response?

I'm not sure you can. I've tried numerous suggestions involving tweaks
of the web.config file to allow this but with no joy. I've also tried
setting it in my web services class constructor like this:

Public Sub New()

Context.Response.ContentEncoding =
System.Text.Encoding.GetEncoding("ISO-8859-1")

End Sub

But it didn't work for me.

Please let me know if you find a solution!
