upload LARGE files via a web-service

Hi,

I have a customer which want to upload LARGE files via a web-service and
stream it into a database while it is uploading. I don't want to go out of
my way and develop a large HTTP App. Module which intercepts a SOAP call and
manually streams the file content to the database if it is a better
solution. Any suggestions?

Regards,
Andreas

I have done this before based on the ColdStorage example on MSDN. The
trick is to break the large file into chunks. I used 64K which seemed
to work well with different network speeds. You can use regular web
service calls to upload the chunks and insert them into the database
using stored procedures and database's image data type.
