Sorting datagrid

Hey everyone.

As I'm new developing web applications and I have little bit problems with creating a sorting function to datagrid. I have datagrid which is populated and sorted from SQL server with following code by clicking the header:

private void SortGrid(object source, System.Web.UI.WebControls.DataGridSortCommandEvent Args e)

{
MainDataGrid.CurrentPageIndex=e.NewPageIndex;
SqlConnection myConnection = new SqlConnection(ConnString);
myConnection.Open();

System.Data.SqlClient.SqlCommand sqlCmd = new System.Data.SqlClient.SqlCommand();

sqlCmd.CommandText = "select * from exrec_main_table order by ID desc";
sqlCmd.Connection=myConnection;

System.Data.SqlClient.SqlDataReader dr= sqlCmd.ExecuteReader();

dr.Sort = e.SortExpression;
MainDataGrid.DataBind();
}

Gives error that 'System.Data.SqlClient.SqlDataReader' does not contain a definition for 'Sort'.

What can be done?
