Uninstall IE7, now prompts for login to localhost with Windows Auth

I installed IE7 and later had to uninstall it. Now when I open Visual
Studio projects I am prompted for my login credentials. Previously it
just opened the projects without prompting. It prompts only on a web
project and a web services project in my solution (there are other
projects in the solution and it doesn't prompt me for those).

Also, when I run my sites locally it prompts me to log in, which it
didn't do previously. FYI, my sites are setup to use Windows
Authentication.

Any idea why it's doing this now, and what to do to restore the prior
behavior? I don't want to have to keep entering my user ID and password
over and over again. I did try giving the ASPNET user full access to
some of the site directories, but that didn't do it.

Thanks in advance,
Vince
