XML namespaces prefix and xmlns

Best reader,

I have managed to use namespaces and prefix with my Xml file.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?>
<X:envelope ...schema etc">
<X:updategram>
//entry start
<X:entry timestamp="2006-09-20T09:10:49+01:00" user="username">
<X:selector>some text</util:selector>
<X:remove>
<X:oldval />
<X:comment />
</X:remove>
</X:entry>
//entry end
</X:updategram>
</X:envelope>
When I in this case add a new entry all taggs get xmlns="a schema".
Like this:

<X:entry timestamp="2006-09-20T09:16:29+01:00" user="username"
xmlns:util="a schema">
<X:selector xmlns:util="a schema">text</util:selector>
..
..
..
</>

So, when creating more tags using the same xmlelements, xmlns="schema"
is added in some way. this might be a bit confusing, but I create the
same element two times, and the second time I get xmlns code involved.
And that is not my plan :)
Any ideas why this happens? and maybe how to not get xmlns invloved
since I allready have the schema in my namespace.
