vs 2005 document formatting html asp.net

Hi,

As I understand, vs 2005 has some document formatting errors. Most
annoying to me is the fact that it doesn't put ending tags on a new
line.

IE
<td>
...<td>
instead of
<td>
....
</td>

Does anyone have a work around or know of a good document editor. I
have hundred of pages of asp.net with lots of html that I have to
maintain and I want to fix this.
