pls solve my problem

m using 2 tables employees and department
i want to use 2 drop down list
Ist 4 department
and 2nd for employees but only those employees should cum whom have department mentioned in above employees dropdown list
so which code i should use for binding
pls help me

& also tell me how i'll get ur reply

hi..drop down list box for department, u bind it with the department table...and that of employees u bind it with employee table..

for all those having a department, u must write code to execute this piece..an if statement is better

this is very simple you just want to select the employees belonging to particular department so first fill the department combo and now write the code in combo selectedchange event of department combo(you can get by double clicking the deopartment combo in design view) now fill the employee combo by using where clause in your query such that where clause should match selected item in the department combo .ok try to understand

first try it if not possible i may give the sample code
