Creating XML file based on schema

This is easy to do in Vis Studio, but why not so easy at run time?

Ive been googling for the last hour and only found some bad
documentation on
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...tml/xmlgen.asp

I also found an undocumented download for it...

Has anyone any tips on how to create an XML file from a schema, without
creating all the noes manually , this must be possible...what am i
missing (apart from a brain?)

Why does the tool/API presented in that article not help?

Thanks for replying Martin.

Maybe im missing something but i downloaded the files , ran the build
but could not find trace of a XmlSampleGenerator.dll

Did I miss something in the article, maybe you could help.

I need it as a dll, else i have to rewrite the modules in vb.net

Any tips appreciated

Andy

Andy,

I have been trying to do the same thing and I have not had much luck
either. I came across a website http://www.schemaxpert.com which has a
..Net dll that creates XML documents from XML schemas.

I haven't had the time to check it out but it seems promising.
Please let me know what you find.

Michael

Hi Michael

I gave up already, after spending so much time searching i then coded
manually
Looking forward to when this has been made easier by microsoft.
