Re: opening a windows form from a .net windows service

I have created a windows service in .net and a form to control and monitor the service which I would like to open onStart event of the service.

I have tried allowing the service access to the desktop and calling the form but have had issues with this. I think the best way to do this would be to run the form .exe. Does anyone know the code (C#) to do this? I am finding it harder than expected to find an example on the Web.

Or does anyone know of any better ways to accomplish this?
