Web Services Eventing

Hello,

I am planning and researching an application in which a given number of
client applications would register interest with a web service, this
web service would then monitor a value and when this value changes
would broadcast to all clientsstating that this change has occured (A
simple eventing mechanism). I see on msdn there is a WS-Eventing
standard however no implementations by Microsoft exist in a released
product.

I do believe that Indigo (WCF) will have this support. I was wondering
if anybody had any experience with this either using Indigo or without
Indigo (Ideally without). My concern of Indigo is that it is a beta
product and I would be shaky about using early technology for a
production system. But on the otherhand if i tried to roll a
WS-Eventing implementation myself it would be a waste especially if an
Indigo release is only round the corner.

Any Ideas suggestions would be most appreciated.
Regards

Michael P Phillipson
