Publish and Front Page Extension

I have created a Windows Forms app and want to publish it to a web site
(on our intranet) so that users can click a link to install the latest
on their desktops.

My problem is that when I choose the location using the Remote Site tab
on the Publish page, I get an error stating that Front Page extensions
are not installed on the web server.

What problems will I encounter by installing Front Page Extensions?
Although this is just a test server, there are several other test web
sites on it. Will installing FPSE cause any problems with those test
sites?

If I choose to publish locally, what must I copy to the web site?

Can anyone point me to some articles about the Publish feature of
VS2005 when used with Windows Forms apps?

Thanks,

Chris
