IDE when checking out files from VSS

Firstly I can't believe there is no IDE newsgroup since it is buggy and
crashes so often.

This happens every now and then and is really annoying. You look at the
code to work out where you want to make a change and then begin typing
and is asks if you want to checkout from VSS. I say yes and then is
flicks through every code window opened and this can last for a minute
and then returns you to a different spot in the code or a different
window. Thanks Microsoft for losing my place. Why the hell touch every
god-damn window and screw it around. I have the latest on my computer.
Make it read/write and that's it. I'm really getting pissed off at MS
about shittly little bugs like this.
