Reading from a text file in c#

Dear all,

I would like to know how can I read a part of line of txt file in c#?

for example: this is a line in my txt file:

US801, MON,Abha,Jeddah,560
and so on the rset of lines in the file is same that.

the question is:

How can I write this line part and part?
means raed US801 then for example store it then read MON and then store it until the final filed which is 560 and then go to the next line and so on.

Well, the easiest way to do so would be to find a tutorial on the net, for reading files by line. Then as your reading a line, split your string into pieces using the comma ( , ) as the delimiter. Then store each piece where you want it. There is a function called 'split', which is easy to use. Check MSDN if you need help on that.

You may read full line as String and after that use method IndexOf(char) to get index of first space; afer that use method Substring(int, int) to get substring by indexes:
s.Substring(0, IndexOf(' ')); will return "US801,".
After that remove this substring from original string and continue to get next word.
