Hello,
I've been trying out the ftp upload functionnalities of the
WebRequestMethods.Ftp class.
Using the examples at this site:
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/lib...ebrequest.aspx
I've been able to upload a file to my destination server but I've been
unable to send a file in a directory that is higher up than the home
directory of the ftp user that I have been using.
For example if my ftp user when logged in starts at:
/home/ftpUser
And I want to upload the file to: /tmp on the destination machine I
tried to specify the destination path as:
ftp://myserver/../../tmp/myfile.txt
The Uri class seems to ignore the '..' telling it to go up a directory.
When it uploads the file it sends it to /home/ftpUser.
How do I specify a ftp path so that it knows to start its directory
structure from the / ?
