How do I get a subset from a NodeList?

I'm using VB6 and MSXML5.

I've got a NodeList and want to generate a subset of the nodes in the
list
based on a filter on one of the attributes of the nodes in the node
list.
I'd like to use XPath for the filter expression. Can anyone tell me
the
most efficient way to accomplish this?

Thanks,
Tom Malia
