about IUSR_XXX account

Ron
Hi there,
I happened to delete IUSR_XXX account when I tried to clear an
application. After that, when I run my VS 2003 application, it said
"compile err".
Does anyone have idea how to fix it? I tried to reinstall IIS and .NET
framework 1.1 but couldn't fix the problem.
Thanks,
Ron

You should either restart IIS Admin or reboot your server to get that account
back, if that does not work:

If you are unable to rebuild or recover your IIS Server then please have a
look here
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/com.../iisi1102.mspx it
won't help you much but will help you understand the necessary information
pertaining to that account.

You could assign a newly created user ID but you will have to grant its
permissions all over IIS, NTFS and even COM to name a few. Goodluck
