Jagged Arrays as parameters in Managed C++

I have to implement a delegate from a c# assembly. It has the
signature

public delegate void Change(int[] row, int[][] col);

The error I get given when I try to implement a compatible method,

void test(int row __gc[], array<array<int>^>^ col)

say, is

Error 1 error C2061: syntax error : identifier 'array'

(which refers to the line where I attempt to use the 'array' identifier
in the method signature)
I am using Visual Studio Profesional 2005

I'm hoping I've just missed something obvious..

oh WOW

there's a whole bunch of 'obvious' things here -
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/xey702bw.aspx

Didn't know all that had happened.
I believe I've now modified all my source to reflect these changes (so
the error has gone) but now I have a new one!

Error 1 Error result 1 returned from 'H:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual
Studio 8\VC\bin\rc.exe'. Project
....slightly less helpful

...until I checked the output

a whole bunch of files from the project - resource.h, rc files and an
icon file had been deleted! (I didn't ask for that!).

For anyone wondering, the ultimate solution to my array problem was
having the project built under /clr:oldSyntax
