Consume java webservice that expects string in utf-8 format using

P: n/a
Hi all!
I´m trying to consume a webservice made in java.
I´m using vs2005 and vb.net

The problem is that the owner of webservice tell me I must send the
parameters (that is a xml doc) like an utf-8 string.

After import the wsdl I got this on vb: makecall(sCabec as string; sboby as
string)
How can I convert the string I´m passing to utf-8 format?

Thanks.
