"limited" asynchronous web service?

Hello everyone,

I want to use a web service in my web application, but I've been told it
would only be quite "limited".
I would like to know how one could qualify an async web service as being
"limited" in a web application context...

Sorry, I know I'm a newbie, but I'm eager to learn =)

Best regards!

Well, your best bet would would be likely to ask the one who told you so. He
could refer to scalability or whatever else (such as a low usage in the
application).

I'm not English (are you ?) but I would be surprised if someone could guess
the exact meaning he meant with just this word. Ask him.

It sounds ridiculous to call web services "limited" without qualifying
it. At present, they are the latest and greatest the industry has to
offer when it comes to distributed computing and the concept of
'service orientation' takes the benefits even further.
