SQL Server 2000 from Pocket PC

I'm trying to connect to SQL Server running on the development workstation
from VB 2005 aplication for Pocket PC with no success.
I'm trying to use the same approach as I use for a regular Windows Forms
application:
objConn = New SqlConnection

objConn.ConnectionString = "Data Source=DELLNEW;Initial Catalog=SRSNew;User
ID=admin;Password=dev;"

Try

objConn.Open()

Application.EnableVisualStyles()

Application.Run(New MDIMain)

Catch ex As Exception

MessageBox.Show("Connection Error: " & vbNewLine & ex.Message, "Error",
MessageBoxButtons.OK, MessageBoxIcon.Error)

End Try

While this code works fine with a regular application, it produces an error:

Specified SQL server not found: DELLNEW

What is wrong?
