Calling a VS2003 class library from VS2005

I've an existing application written in C# with VS2003 Professional
currently deployed and working fine.

All the crystal reports used by the application are contained in one dll
(class library). The many exes that make up this application use this
one dll for printing.

However, one of the exes requires rebuilding with VS2005 to include new
functionality which is not available in v1.1 of the framework. But when
the new exe calls the dll, its throws the following exception

Error in file C:\Documents and Settings\TestAC\Local
Settings\Temp\temp_869da8dd-cf26-4d0c-870d-4865e172372c.rpt: The request
could not be submitted for background processing.

Any help with be much appreciated.

Phil.
