I was doing some web hits report work and noticed that the .NET CLR, if
installed, is part of the OS string.
Example:
192.168.26.17 - 2006-05-16 11:21:44 GET
/broadbaseema/co
okietest/jspcookie.jsp 200 - - "Mozilla/4.0
(compatible; MSIE 6
..0; Windows NT 5.0; .NET CLR 1.0.3705; .NET CLR 1.1.4322)" -
"sitenam
e=halpromos; halpromos=Tue May 16 11:19:31 PDT 2006"
Here it shows that I'm running both the 1.0 and 1.1 when I access my web
server.
I'm wondering if anyone has stats on the total number, or percent of
Windows users, that have the CLR installed.
