Javascript Popup from DataList

How can I have a popup-window appear from my DataList?

I'm looking for something like this within the DataList:

<TD>
<a href="javascript:var win =
window.open('/Popup/ShowPic.aspx?PicID={0}',null,'width=350,height=150 ');">
<asp:Image id=Image1 runat="server" ImageUrl='<%# "~/pics/" +
DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "PictureID") + ".gif" %>'>
</asp:Image>
</a>
</TD>
The above example works with a DataGrid, but in my DataList the {0}
doesn't do the job.

Any help would be appreciated.

Why you don't try in this way......

<a href="javascript:var win = window.open('\cardetails.aspx?LN=EN&CarID=<%# Databinder.Eval(Container.DataItem,"Pro_ID") %>',null,'width=750,height=550');">From Java</a>
