XPath and dc:subject

Forgive me, I'm not an expert but I'm trying to read an RSS feed using VS 2005. It works in general, but I have a field <dc:subject> that I'd like to filter on and I cannot. Here is an example of the XPath code that works:

XPath="rss/channel/item[not(title='bla bla bla text')]"

but I need to do something similar with the <dc:subject> field....

XPath="rss/channel/item[not(dc:subject='News (Members Only)')]"

but the ":" messes it up! :mad:

The error is "Namespace Manager or XsltContext needed. This query has a prefix, variable, or user-defined function.". Now I don't have any backend code running this. I'm simply using an XMLDataSource and a DataRepeater to display the fields, but I need to do this final filter and I don't know what to do. Please help!
