question about bootstrapper sample

P: n/a
i use vs.net2003 generate the install files,it works well.
but in order to integrate the dotnet installing and my
app installing,i
download bootstrapper sample executable from microsoft
website,according to
the instruction, put the
setup.exe,settings.ini ,dotnetfx.exe and my *.msi
file into a directory and modify the settings.ini
file,then run the
setup.exe file,it works well(automatiaclly and
continuously install dotnet
framework and my application).

then i want to try the bootstrapper source code.
1 download the source code, and extract to
a is a .net project.
2 open the setup.sln file by using the
vs.net2003,compile the project,generate a
new setup.exe file.
3 replace the old setup.exe file with the
new one.
4 double click setup.exe file,a
comfirmation windows popup,click ok button
to continue, the second windows is "setup
is working.this may take several
minutes",the third windows tell me the
command line parameter error,the fourth
windows tell me that the installation

the first, second and the fourth windows is from the
bootstrapper source,but
i can't find the fourth windows,it seem like from
operating system.

who can help me?why the directed-download executable
works well,but the
compiled one don't work?
thank you!
