HelpRequested event on a TabPage

I've got a TabControl object and I want a help message to come up when the
user clicks on the TabPage itself (as opposed to a control on the tab page).

The HelpRequested events are working for controls on the TabPage, but not
when the user clicks on the open space.

Does anyone know of a way to emulate this behavior (I can capture the mouse
clicks but how do I know if I'm in a HelpRequest state?)

Any ideas would be appreciated.

TIA,
Dave
