Morantex announce the availability of the first beta preview of Persistore for Windows x86 and x64. This technology combines shared memory, data, and object persistence in a .NET component for the first time.
Persistore enables applications, websites and web services to rapidly manipulate shared in-memory data and object repositories whilst also providing resilience. Developers, designers and architects are encouraged to explore the beta and participate in defining the next release of this technology.
We are particularly keen to explore ways for improving customer performance issues especially if this entails large volumes of XML or very high data updating rates.
By implementing a "file system" in shared memory, Persistore lets applications organize memory resident data using directories and can store files simply by dragging them into a repository (or using the import feature). These files are converted to SharedStream objects which can be used in any situation that a Stream is used.
