XSD meta-attribute

Hi,

is there a way to declare in an XSD an attribute of type "an xsd type" ?
for example <foo bar="xsd:string"/> or <foo bar="xsd:boolean"/>

thanks,

I don't think there is a predefined QName type you could use.
There is however the predefined
xsi:type
attribute that defines the type of an element e.g.
<element
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
xsi:type="xs:string">...</element>
