Context Menu Handler and VB.Net

Hi there,

I'm trying to research how to add an event to the context
menu of a file system object for all objects on the OS
that can be right clicked on. Specifically, I need two
seperate functions triggered - one for files and another
for directories.

The issue I am having is that I do not want to use COM to
do so. Is this possible? Does anyone have any leads they
can point me to?

thanks in advance.
